Please pray for Ms. Amelia Chung, 77 years old, fell on the ground in a park in Vancouver on September 15 and broke her right shoulder badly. She will have a reverse shoulder replacement on October 22 in Sydney. This is a big surgery and the rehabilitation will be long. Kindly pray that the medical team will be blessed and guided by the Holy Spirit to perform the best and successful surgery with no complications for her. May God bestow patience and resilience to Amelia in the rehabilitation process and can progress smoothly to a full recovery. Thank you very much for your support and prayers.

Please pray for all the victims of the tornadoes spawned by Hurricane Milton. Many lost their homes and the death toll is rising. May we ask God to calm the flooding in Lakeland, Florida. May they get sufficient assistance from the government to rebuild their communities from all the damage left behind. May Mother Mary pray for the pain of losing family members and all properties. May they have the love and support among each other.

Please pray for the second session of the Synod of Bishops which has been carrying on in Vatican. This is a critical moment for the Church to reflect on and respond to the evolving needs of being a synodal and missionary Church. May the Holy Spirit guide each of them in every discussion and discernment.

We pray for the Repose of the Soul of Nora Chu. She lived in Taiwan & passed away on Thursday. May our Merciful Lord embrace her soul in His arms peacefully. O Lord, we pray for Eternal rest grant unto her and let perpetual light shine upon her. And please pray for her family and especially her mother who lives in HK.
