Record monsoon rains and flash floods have caused devastating flooding in Pakistan, leaving a third of the country underwater.
Compassionate Lord, we pray for those who have been devastated by recent natural disasters. We remember those who have lost their lives so suddenly. We hold in our hearts the families forever changed by grief and loss. Bring them consolation and comfort. Surround them with our prayer for strength. Bless those who have survived and heal their memories of trauma and devastation. May they have the courage to face the long road of rebuilding ahead.

Please pray for HK news about a family. A 5-year old son passed away with multiple abuses and the mother is 5-month pregnant.
Please also pray for compassionate support to the two siblings, aged 8 and 3. The family does not have a father.
Lord, please have mercy on each member of this family. May you open the hearts from the government and community to provide practical support and love to heal the psychological hurt. In Jesus name, we pray for them. Amen.

Please pray for Mark Rurelle's wife, Grace. She broke her hip bones seriously on Easter vigil this year and had a gallbladder surgery during the hip recovery. She has just left her wheelchair and walks with a walker. Kindly pray for enough support from her parish to take care of Grace (drive her to VGH & stay with her overnight). We pray in the mighty name of Jesus, Our Lord. Amen.
